Smoky quartz is a translucent, grey variety of quartz that ranges in clarity from almost complete transparency to an almost opaque and sometimes black crystal. Known as the Stone of Power, this stone was sacred and signified the potent dark power of Earth Gods and Godesses to the ancient Druids. Please remember our semi-precious beads will all include natural inclusions and slight variations of colour. Of course this makes them even more unique as no two semi-precious beads are exactly the same. Approximately 80cm String
