Antique Weathered Double-Sided “For Sale” Advertising Sign

Original double-sided painted advertising sign reading "For Sale" in bold red lettering on a white ground. Constructed of fiber board, the sign has developed a pronounced wave across its length, giving it a sculptural, banner-like profile when viewed from the side. Heavy paint loss and flaking reveal the substrate beneath, creating a layered surface that speaks to prolonged outdoor or storefront use. The typography is straightforward and utilitarian, intended for quick legibility from a distance, and remains visually strong despite extensive wear.

Significant paint loss and surface cracking present throughout, with noticeable warping to the board. Edges show wear consistent with age and exposure. Structurally intact.
